Hello! I’m Torina Norton, but everyone calls me Tory (yes, with a Y). I’m the breeder behind Pups of the Lowcountry, based in Hardeeville, SC. My dogs and puppies are lovingly raised right in my home as part of the family, so I can prepare them to be wonderful companions for yours. As a breeder, I take great responsibility in prioritizing the health and temperament of every puppy, ensuring they are nurtured and cared for before joining their forever homes. I’m truly excited to share these beautiful breeds with families and individuals alike.
My story
I married my high school sweetheart and am blessed to be a proud mother of 11 children and grandmother to 4. I spent years caring for others as a nurse before following my lifelong passion for dogs. For over 20 years, I’ve been breeding with love and purpose — beginning with show dogs, and later focusing on puppies specially raised for families with young children and for service work. Inspired by my own little boy’s need for a service dog, I’m dedicated to starting each puppy on the right paw with early training, so they can grow into confident, loving companions.

We promise they come to you happy and healthy, with a 72-hour general health guarantee and a 12-month genetic health guarantee for serious hereditary conditions. If something isn’t right in that time, we’ll do everything we can to make it right. Our biggest wish is that your new little one fills your days with tail wags, wet-nosed kisses, and endless love.
